Frequently asked questions

  • We are open from Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. Lunch seating times are from 12:00 to 13:45, and dinner from 18:00 to 21:00.

  • We do not offer an à la carte menu. Each week, we serve a 3- or 4-course lunch menu and a 5- or 6-course dinner menu, featuring the finest vegetables from our garden. Complemented by some fish or meat, the vegetables take center stage. Harvested in the morning and served in the afternoon, we primarily use local Dutch produce, combined with international flavors and cooking techniques.

  • Please inform us of any allergies in advance so we can consult with our chefs about possible adjustments to the menu. However, cross-contamination is always a possibility. For severe allergies, please contact us by phone or email at info@restaurantdekas.nl.

  • Vegetables are the stars of our menu, complemented by some fish or meat. We can, however, serve a completely vegetarian or vegan menu upon request.

  • You can book up to 3 months in advance via our website.

  • In most cases, you can change the time or number of guests using your confirmation email. If you have trouble, feel free to contact us.

  • For lunch, the end time is 16:00. For dinner, it is 00:00, unless you have an early dinner reservation, which ends at 20:30. This will be mentioned in your confirmation email.

  • If a table becomes available, we will contact you by phone.

  • You can dine with a maximum of 12 people in the restaurant. For groups of 13 to 20, we offer our private room, the Garden Room. This room is separated from the restaurant by glass walls, so it is not fully soundproof. This means you will still hear the "buzz" from the restaurant, and no private (live) music or amplified sound is allowed. 

    We also offer exclusive use of our restaurant for groups of 80 to 140 guests. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate groups in between these numbers.

  • We only serve lunch and dinner.

  • Only for groups of 7 or more people. The deposit is €50 per person and will be deducted from the final bill.

  • Reservations for up to 6 people can be canceled free of charge, and we kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible. Reservations with a deposit can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.

  • Our restaurant is all on one level and has an accessible restroom. We are located in a park with limited vehicle access. If you have a disabled parking permit, it is possible to enter the park via the bridge on Kamerlingh Onneslaan. Upon arrival at the bridge, you can call us at 020-4624562, and we will grant you access to the park.

  • This is only possible if you have a disabled parking permit.

  • Dogs are not allowed in our restaurant or on our terrace.

  • Children are welcome. We offer a special menu for kids. If you are bringing a stroller, please let us know in advance so we can arrange a table with enough space.
